Systems Approach

System Thinking - Looking at the events in an organization and seeing the pattern of complex relationships from a broad perspective, rather than just the events themselves.

 This broad view helps to identify and pinpoint the real causes of problems so that solutions will be targeted and effective.

This is helpful in resolving:

bulletComplex problems that involve helping many individuals see the "big picture" and not just their part of it.
bulletRecurring problems or those that have been made worse by past attempts to fix them.
bulletIssues where an action affects (or is affected by) the environment surrounding the issue, either the natural environment or the competitive environment.
bulletProblems whose solutions are not obvious.
